About ENS

The European Nutrition Society (ENS) is an association registered in Switzerland. We focus on the understanding and communication of nutrition science: asking clear questions, examining evidence and making the original sources easier to find.

Nutrition evidence in context

A nutrition finding is most useful when its meaning and limits are clear. Our scientific guides explain concepts that recur in research, teaching and public discussion, from nutrient reference values to the reporting of a study.

The website combines these guides with selected external resources and reading paths. Researchers can start with methods and reporting. Educators can use the topic guides to structure discussion. Students and nutrition professionals can follow the same sources to examine a question in more depth.

Work and contribute with ENS

We welcome enquiries about scientific and educational contributions. A proposal might concern a teaching resource, a discussion of research methods or a collaboration with a clearly defined question and audience.

Describe the work you have in mind, the people involved and the contribution you are seeking from ENS. This gives us a useful basis for a conversation.
